Students from UEBA visit STEP

Students from the University of Economics in Bratislava (UEBA) visited STEP today as part of an activity organised by Malta Enterprise. Luke Desira, Co-founder of STEP, gave a short talk on the importance of ISO 9001 in today’s competitive economy and how STEP helps its clients conform to ISO standards and obtain ISO certification.

Max Bartolo, Operations Manager at STEP, then briefly discussed the various benefits that ISO standards offer including:

  • Improved operations
  • Reduced costs
  • Enhanced customer satisfaction
  • Access to new markets
  • Increased market share
  • Environmental benefits

Desira tactfully concluded by summarizing how any organization can obtain fantastic results through a process of continual improvement in accordance to ISO standards by quoting STEP’s tagline: “Small changes. Big improvements.
